Today, Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, has filed a paternity suit against Eddie Murphy in Los Angeles. The basis of the paternity suit is Murphy’s failure to own up to his obligations related to his 4 month old daughter with the Spice Girl.  Apparently, since Murphy won (or lost, depending how you look at it) the “Who’s Your Daddy” game, he has failed to acknowledge the baby is his and pay for child support. The long awaited birth of Angel Iris Murphy Brown finally arrived on April 3, 2007.  Angel’s mother is Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) and father is allegedly Eddie Murphy. Brown and Murphy dated briefly last summer, but Murphy has denied that he is the father of the baby. In fact, Murphy has been quoted as saying “I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.” Read the rest of this entry »
