PHATLAW has learned that Busta Rhymes’ trial, which was set to start on Wednesday, has been postponed until November 7th.  PHATLAW readers will recall that Busta will stand trial related to 4 arrests in the last 10 months.  Those arrests include assault, DUI, and driving without a driver’s license.  Read the rest of this entry »

Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. a/k/a “Busta Ryhmes” caught a good break today when a criminal court judge in Manhattan ordered that he would receive separate trials for each of the four criminal charges he is facing.  Busta Bust is charged with driving on a suspended license, Driving Under the Influence (“DUI”) and two misdemeanor assault charges.  All four of his arrests have come within the last ten months.  Some buddy been busy! If only he was making as much music as alleged trouble.
