PHATLAW has learned that yet another NFL player has had a run in with the law.  This time, the culprit is Chicago Bears’ Linebacker, Lance Briggs.  At approximately 3:14 a.m. Monday morning, Briggs crashed his $350K Lambourghini on Chicago’s Edens Expressway.  Now, don’t worry BEARS fans, the Powerhouse Linebacker was not injured.  However, instead of calling the police, Briggs did what any other highly paid, self indulgent, star athlete would do – - he ran for the hills and left his Lambourghini behind.   As a result, Briggs was charged with a misdemeanor for leaving the scene of the accident and also received two traffic citations.
