PHATLAW sources reveal that the middle Jackson brother and his ex-wife, Alejandra, appeared in court today related to the custody battle of their children, Jaffar and Jermajesty – yeah, you read that correctly. The Judge ruled that the Dead Beat Dad must pay up for back payment of spousal and child support and rejected Jackson’s request for a 50/50 split in custody. The damage to Jackson is $11,511/month, which is retroactive to July 1.

As far as PHATLAW knows, this Jackson brother has no source of regular employment. However, Alejandra’s attorney proved that Jackson received $450K for his appearance on Big Brother UK. Based on that amount, the judge ruled that Jackson has the means to pay support. If Jackson fails to provide the court ordered support payments, he could be held in contempt of court and may face jail time.

PhatThought: It looks like Michael isn’t the only Wacko Jacko in the Jackson family.

Today’s court hearing, that lasted nearly three hours, resulted in Kevin Federline retaining custody of his children he has with Britney Spears. The Former Pop Princess received monitored visitation. The next court hearing is scheduled for October 26th.

For today’s court appearance, Spears didn’t even bother showing up. Her lack of attention to this matter (from her failed appearance today to her failure to adhere to the court’s orders) likely contributed to K-Fed retaining custody. Spears’ partying and reports of drug use likely contributed to the Judge’s order that she receive “monitored” visitation. Monitored visitation means that a third party must be present at all times during Spears’ visits with her children.

PhatThought: Britney has no problem showing up to celebrity hot spots like the Ivy or Pure, but routinely fails to appear in the custody battle involving her children. WTF!!!!!!!!

PHATLAW has learned that L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon issued a court order today awarding Kevin Federline physical custody of the two boys he has with Britney Spears. The Former Pop Princess has no one else to blame for her lost of custody, but herself. She ignored the Judge’s orders at every possible turn. For instance, the Judge ordered Spears to meet with a drug counsel. Spears said F you to that. The Judge ordered Spears to enroll in parenting classes. Spears said I don’t think so to that one. The Judge ordered Spears to sign the court order. Spears said Oh Hell No! Also, the Judge told the Rehab Princess to not drive her kids unless she obtained a valid California driver’s license. Spears said I’ll drive my kids wherever and whenever I want to that one.

Essentially, the Judge got fed up with Spears’ antics and utter disregard for his orders. So, he has punished her in the ultimate way possible – he has taken away her kids. Apparently, Spears’ actions have led the Judge to believe that she is an unfit parent and that the kids are better off with the Money Grubbing One.

PhatThought: PHATLAW suspects that K-Fed will be contacting Spears soon for a money exchange for the kids.

On Friday, David Hasselhoff was awarded primary physical custody and sole legal custody of his two daughters, Haley and Taylor.  Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, was allowed to have the kids every other weekend and dinner on Wednesday nights. The Judge was willing to award the parents a 50/50 split on custody if Bach attended anger management classes and submitted to regular drug and alcohol tests. When Bach refused to submit to such tests, the Judge awarded The Hoff predominant custody.

Alec Baldwin unleashed his anger and frustration over his current child visitation rights with his 11 year old daughter Ireland by leaving an explosive voicemail message on her cell phone after she missed a scheduled phone call.  According to the current visitation schedule he has with ex-wife, Kim Basinger, Baldwin has scheduled phone calls with his daughter.  When Ireland missed one of those scheduled calls, Baldwin unleashed a tirade of threats and insults by calling his daughter a “thoughtless little pig.”  At one point during the voicemail message, Alec threatened to “straighten your ass out.” Read the rest of this entry »
